Beginning in February, 2007, Natural Home will follow construction in an ongoing series that will include ideas on how you can green your home. When construction is complete, an open house will feature the work of furniture designers finding new ways to use sustainabley harvested natural and recycled materials. Plus: before, during, and after construction pictures and, yes, a blog on Natural Home’s web site.
The DoRay Building
Over 300 people came by to see the construction site and for Q&A with architect Tony Daniels and representatives from R & E Brooklyn and GreenStreet Construction (including, as we found out after the fact, the very attorney who is reviewing the offering plan at the Attoney General’s offices). An exhibit, put together with help from Boerum Hill’s Furstimpressions’s Jessica Furst, helped guide visitors through what had been and what is to be.
Design is underway for beautiful new 1 BR loft apartments, coming soon to another corner site in Boerum Hill, possibly to feature a green roof. Click for more on the DoRay Building!
